Piling requirements
CFA piles were installed of a 600mm diameter to construct the retaining wall to form the basement excavation which was designed to withstand the heavy loads into the granular soils and to support the unstable ground conditions. Bearing and contiguous piles of 600mm and up to 14m deep were used on the rest of the development.
