Sheppard Piling is a specialist piling company where we believe that our service level at planning and post construction is unique and sets us apart from other organisations. We have built solid relationships within the industry and are fortunate to work with many regular clients in London, M25 and home counties.
Our experience in piling and foundation work allows our team to cater for projects and construction schemes of all sizes, this includes the following: commercial, including rail & infrastructure, new build developments, restricted access and residential instructions.
We have invested in a comprehensive range of equipment which includes Mini, CFA and Rotary Bored piling rigs which allows us to support our clients on a vast range of projects and sub-structures. Our recent construction schemes have presented us with different challenges including piling on a slope through solid rock, working with clay, silts, granular sands, gravels and chalks, we also have extensive experience in working with shrinkable clay and made-up ground which is prominent in the London basin.

Our clients include construction professionals, national & regional housing developers, main contractors and local builders. Our knowledge base spans 15 years in ground engineering commercial contracts, and a comprehensive range of equipment to meet the project requirements.
Our capabilities include CFA & Rotary auger bored piling for open site schemes with diameters ranging from 300mm – 750mm and up to depths of 30.0m, for commercial restricted sites we have both bored and driven piling rigs to suit restricted headroom or sites that have confined working space, with diameters ranging from 150mm – 450mm and depths of up to 25.0m.
Our staff are fully trained to meet CSCS / CPCS & NPORS requirements and for projects where we are required to work near or in conjunction with network rail we are RISQS accredited with operatives that are PTS trained for these particular working environments.
