A prestigious development by Ecore Construction where an existing petrol station is being converted into a residential development. Sheppard Piling was awarded the project to install both contiguous and bearing piles on the project.
Piling requirements
As this site was an existing petrol station with the majority of the ground made-up, there is a greater risk of collapse this is why we chose to deploy a CFA system of piling. To install 224 CFA piles at 400mm diameter to accommodate the contiguous wall for the basement excavation. Then a further 85 x 450mm bearing piles were installed to maintain the load of the main building structure.
